This next section has some of the people I met whilst in Vietnam.  Generally the people were very friendly and happy for pictures to be taken.

This man was trying to sell me a watch – I clearly said no, but he persisted anyway.

Ho Chi Minh City :: August 2010

Can’t quite remember what she was selling.  But I liked her hat!

This guy works for the Ben Thanh Market and helps to keep pick pockets and unauthorised street venders out of the way.

Not quite sure where I met this smiley chap.  But he was selling something in Ho Chi Minh City and the backdrop was pretty cool too.

Sunglasses, watch???  Whatever you want and a good price.

I wasn’t interested though.  But that didn’t stop this guy coming back several times to ask.  After the second time I told him I would be taking his picture next time… he still came back!!

Guarding the telephone?  I’m really not sure what he was doing.

Beggars are not uncommon on the streets either.

Street seller cooking some kind of waffle – whilst it was cheap, it was also a little on the bland side.

The teacher.  This chap started talking to me in the park and was interested in why I was visiting Ho Chi Minh.  Turns out he is a high school teacher and was also enjoying the summer vacation.
