The third weekend of September gives way in France to the Journées européennes du patrimoine – https://journeesdupatrimoine.culture.gouv.fr/.

During this weekend, members of the public are given the opportunity to visit monuments and sites, often closed and just for this weekend open to the public. During September 2024, I had the opportunity to visit two venues: Le musée de la Légion d’honneur (images 1 – 3); and École nationale supérieur des Beaux-Arts (images 4 – 9 and the featured image).
