Embracing the Colonial Charm of Nuwara Eliya
From Sigiriya, I embarked on a mesmerizing train journey to the town of Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka. As the train snaked its way through the lush, rolling hills, I was captivated by the verdant tea plantations that stretched out as far as the eye could see. The cool, crisp air and the quaint, colonial-style architecture of Nuwara Eliya only added to the charm of this delightful town, and I found myself immersed in the timeless elegance of a bygone era.
